Install any style of microphones with ease, using mic interface boxes in the room and running a single CAT5 cable back to the processor rack.  You have VISCA control to have your Pan-Tilt-Zoom camera frame a shot triggered by an active mic.  There is an internal amp for a couple speakers.  And you have a LAN connection for Remote Network Management and an aux I/O.
