We will be showcasing the essentials from each manufacturer we represent and as always, highlighting new products and emerging technologies. Our show is open to dealers, consultants and end users. There is no cost to attend.

Speed Up Installations with the Right Mounting Solutions

Regional Lighting Control Class

This Course introduces Lutron Pro AV dealers to commercial lighting, lighting control and controllable window treatments. Designing spaces for Video Teleconferencing is covered in detail. Product training includes Grafix Eye QS, Grafik Eye IA, MR and PAV products, RadioTouch, LCP128, EcoSystem, Sivoia QED and Sivoia QS. Required of all new dealers and all dealers who have not attending training in 12 months. Dealers are encouraged to bring a laptop and have Grafik Eye Designer downloaded.

TANDBERG (4 RUs)
Codec Road Show

The TANDBERG Codec Roadshow is your opportunity to explore the Codec C60 and C90! This event will feature sales positioning, technical breakout sessions and hands-on training from TANDBERG experts. Learn how to configure network settings, hook up sources and monitors, upgrade software and install option keys. Attendees will also receive detailed overviews of several new integrator tools!

InfoComm Classes

Networking: Firewalls, Connections and Wireless (2 Rus)
This course provides information on basic network configuration and specifically addresses firewalls and wireless technology. We will use digital signage and streaming applications to demonstrate some of the issues that can arise when settings are not correct. The course will assist you in discussing your applications with IT managers.

AV-IT Convergence – Audio and Video over IP (2 Rus)
As audio and video make their way onto the network, how will the IT manager respond? Do you have the answers to the IT manager’s many questions?  This two-hour seminar delves into the concepts and the math behind multi-cast and uni-cast streams. You will gain the ability to knowledgeably discuss bandwidth and content delivery methods with the IT manager of a project. A brief overview of networking and IP addressing is presented.

Digital Signage for Sales Professionals (2 Rus)
Where is the growth in the AV industry? Digital Signage. This class is presented in sales person format to discuss the pieces, parts, and functions of a digital signage system. We will explore the simple systems and more elaborate networked solutions. Learn how to discuss and sell networked and non-networked signage solutions to your clients with confidence.

Audio Fundamentals for Teleconferencing & Video Conferencing
Taught be Aaron Campbell, this course provides a basic understanding of audio for teleconferencing, and an overview of ClearOne products and their features. This Course leads to becoming a Certified ClearOne Product Specialist.

The course will include discussions of: DVI vs. Analog; DVI Resolutions; What is EDID; Common distribution issues; Solutions to those issues; Components of distribution; EDID Management; HDCP and HDMI; Features of LinxTM Switchers; and Fiber Optic Considerations.

Projector System Design Basics
This interactive course features Stewart Filmscreen's new Projection and Screen System Calculator. this tool has been designed to assist in maximizing the performance of two piece projection systems. Participants will have the opportunity to witness how ambient light and other environmental factors affect image quality.

Fiber Optics for the A/V Professional
As Fiber Optics is becoming common in Audio/Video applications there is a need for a basic introduction to Fiber Optic Cabling. This course will present Fiber Cable types, construction types and applications, connector types, best practice installations and the pro’s and con’s of Fiber. Fiber termination practices, Fiber validation practices, and loss budget calculations are presented to the students. This course will present the analog to digital conversion and what that means to bandwidth. What Fiber means to bandwidth and future bandwidth requirements will be discussed. This course will eliminate many misconceptions about fiber and demonstrate just how easy working with Fiber Optic cable really is.
